Lets hope i can get this journal right this time
Thank god Christmas and all that is over eh? I trust everybody had good ones and didn't overdo it on the stuffing? I have not been around much this past week. Just a few flying visits into dA and i must say i was really chuffed with the response my latest dev got.
Thankyou all who responded so positively to it. I was amazed! It gives me such a positive attitude and spurs me on to make more. There are a few things in the pipeline that i am working on, so i have enough to keep me busy!
Was very pleased to be contacted via the Gimptalk forum by the guy who creates the Custom Splash Screen Extension for Firefox. addons.mozilla.org/thunderbird… had been Googling for splash screens to add to the latest release and happened across my splashies over there. He wants to use them in the official release in Feb, and also asked me to do some artwork for the extension itself. I was mega Chuffed to do that! Only some Shiny Icons but it made me feel important.. Which is a bit sad, but they say little things please little minds!
There has been a lot of complaints over the Bugs and nasties in dA right now. I can honestly say, that apart from the chronically bad download speed and the occasional blank page, i have found it alright. However i am wondering if this is thanks to the recent great deviations out there that are designed to make browsing dA more pleasurable and slick.

The deviantTidy extension helps when browsing the comments and gives it a more inline slick look (Amongst other things) and deviantEXPERIENCE has a whole host of great stuff including Recommend Me TransWOOT (priceless) and Crystal Ball

Oh Yes, before i forget, i was positively droooling when i saw the Ev0 For Windows Live Messenger by
I don't really go in much for IM's and i especially HATE the User Interface for WLM. However, i downloaded this today and nearly had a turn when i saw how beautiful it is! Its fantasic! Well worth the download and makes IM more pleasurable!
